(Published in Pampa Daily News (Pampa, Gray, Texas) - 6 Aug 1948, Fri - Page 1) SHAMROCK - (Special) - Funeral services were held at 5 p.m. yesterday from the First Methodist Church here for Mrs. Rada Copeland Bowers, 61, Shamrock pioneer who died at her home early yesterday morning. Mrs. Bowers had been in bad health for the past 18 months and had been critically ill for about four weeks. She came to Wheeler County from Ardmore, Okla., in 1904; resided in Erick, Okla., and Wellington from 1922 through 1924 and moved to Shamrock in 1925. Surviving are two sons, Lee and Marion Trimble of Shamrock; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Harris of Amarillo and Mrs. Elizabeth Taylor of Junction; 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. The Rev. S.M. Dunnam, pastor, officiated and burial was in Shamrock Cemetery under the direction of the Clay Funeral Home. first spouse: Tandy Cullen Trimble, b. 10/15/1884 OK, last seen on the 1940 census in McCone, Montana
