'''''''''''''''''' The Banner-Press (David City, Nebr.), February 25, 1993, p. 8, col. 3 Mary Frances Kozisek services held February 19 Services for Mary Frances Kozisek, 99, of David City, were held Friday, Feb. 19, from Immaculate Conception Church in Ulysses with Father Paul Sheehy officiating. Mrs. Kozisek died February 16 at David Place. Music was by Theresa Pasonault. Pallbearers were Duane Kozisek, Donald Kozisek, Robert Pasonault, Fred Brown, John Coffin, and Michael Lange. Honorary pallbearers were Russell Tichota, Marvin Miller and Jay Wilger. Burial was in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Bruno. Mary, the daughter of Matej and Frantiska Komenda Jisa, was born January 16, 1894, at Weston. She attended rural school near Dwight. On October 28, 1913, she was married to Robert John Kozisek at Dwight. Nine children were born to this union. A lifetime resident of Butler County, she was a homemaker and member of the Catholic faith. She is survived by one son, Rudy Kozisek of Columbus; five daughters, Lucille Filipe of Columbus, Mrs. Charles (Adeline) Root of David City, Mrs. Daniel (Margaret) Pasonault of Columbus, Mrs. Wilson (Geraldine) Shuler of Bryson City, N.C.., and Deloris Wilger of Lincoln; 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; one sister, eight brothers, her husband, two sons, one daughter, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
