The Family of Mrs. Francis Jisa '''''''''''''''''' The Banner-Press (David City, Nebr.), December 12, 1957, p. 4B, col. 4 & 5 Funeral Services For Mrs. Frantiska Jisa Held at Dwight Funeral services for Mrs. Frantiska Jisa, 92, were held from the Dwight Assumption Church on Nov. 21, with Father Beranek officiating. Serving as pallbearers were her six grandsons: Ray, Joe, Eugene and Emil Jisa, Rudy and Jerry Kozisek. Burial was in the Dwight Cemetery. Holesovsky Funeral Home, Brainard, was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Jisa was born on June 16, 1865 and departed this life on Nov. 18, 1957. She is survived by six sons, Joe and Albert of David City; John of Ulysses; Louie of Garrison, Charles of Lincoln, and Mike of Dwight; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Kozisek of Surprise and Mrs. Antonia Kozisek of Seward. She also leaves 35 grandchildren and 62 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, Mike, and two sons, Frank and Emil.
