EMIL HEIBEL Emil Heibel, 59, of Route 1, life long resident of Victoria, died Tuesday afternoon in a local hospital after a short illness. Mr. Heibel, a retired general contractor, was born Jan. 31, 1907 in Victoria County, the son of the late Adam and Theresa Huber Heibel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at McCabe-Carruth Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alice Heibel, of Victoria; two sisters, Mrs. Alfred Gutmann and Mrs. William Thames, both of Victoria; four half sisters, Mrs. Margaret Ortiz of New Mexico, Mrs. Cecela Scott of Victoria, Mrs. Tracy Bowen of San Antonio and Mrs. Rosa Miller of Del Rio; four brothers, Alfred and Victor Heibel, both of Victoria, Otto of Houston, and George Heibel of Aetna Springs, Calif.; and a half brother, Oscar Heibel, of California.
