ALFRED HEIBEL Alfred Henry Heibel, 81, of Route 9, died at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday in a local hospital following a lengthy illness. A retired security officer at Victoria Bank and Trust Co., Mr. Heibel was born March 4, 1899, in Victoria, to the late Adam D. and Theresa Huber Heibel. He was a lifelong resident of Victoria County and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at McCabe-Carruth Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Carlson, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Florine Heibel, and a daughter, Mrs. Herman Scherer, both of Victoria, and two grandchildren. The Victoria Advocate-Wednesday, September 17, 1980, page 10A A. H. Mr. Heibel, a native of Victoria and retired security officer for Victoria Bank and Trust Co., died Tuesday afternoon in a local hospital after an extended illness. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Adam D. Heibel, and mother, Mrs. Theresa Huber Heible. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Florine Heibel of Victoria; a daughter, Mrs. Herman Scherer of Victoria; step-mother, Mrs. Annie Heibel of Victoria; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Thames of Victoria; two brothers, Victor Heibel of Victoria and Otto Heibel of Houston; four step-sisters; a step-brother; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Victor Huber, Austin Huber, Johnnie Heibel, Martin Huber, Henry Heibel and James Huber. The Victoria Advocate-Thursday, September 18, 1980, page 12A
