Victor Charles Heibel, age 95, of Victoria, passed away Friday, Apr 18. He was born Sep 26, 1912 in Victoria, the son of Adam and Theresa Huber Heibel. He married Doris Lee Dugas on Sep 26, 1945 in Plagueminine, La. He served with the US Army as a staff serg., during WW II and was a cook for his company. He was a carpenter and mechanic & mastered many other trades. He is survived by daughters and son: Beverly Rippley & husband Herb, Victoria Patricia Weppler & husband Rodgers,Victoria Leona Janke & husband Carroll, Inez Jeffery Heibel & wife Barbara, Victoria Sisters: Margaret Heibel of California Tracy Jourdan of San Antonio Ceclia Scott of Grand Prairie Rose Miller of Victoria Grandchildren: Wendy Stucker, Yvette Alexander, Michelle McSpadden, Shelly McKaig, Brandon Weppler, Nicole Janke, Julie Janke, Melanie Rippley, Kevin Rippley and Amber Heibel. Great Grandchildren: Ashton Stucker, Kason Stucker, Baron Stucker, Dylan McKaig, Ryan McKaig, Jason Weppler, Caleb Weppler, Charles Weppler, Sarah Alexander and Stephen Alexander. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Teresa Heibel and stepmother, Annie Kliber Heibel; son, Victor C.Heibel Jr Sisters: Mary Gutmann; Elizabeth Thames; Brothers: Adam Heibel, Emil Heibel, Alfred Heibel, Otto Heibel, George Heibel, Oscar Heibel Grandchildren; David Rippley and Shelly Rene Rippley. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday at Colonial Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be a 2 p.m., Monday, April 21, at Colonial Funeral Chapel with Deacon Jim Koenig officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery with full military honors by the Victoria Area Veterans Council. Pallbearers: G.A.
