Bio
Raymond R. Osentowski was born October 18, 1912 at Elyria, Nebraska to Phillip and Josephine Ciemny Osentowski and died June 6, 1989 at the Valley County Hospital in Ord Nebraska at the age of 76. He was raised in rural valley county and received his education in rural schools. He farmed with his parents. He married Irene Michalski Sept. 10, 1938 at Elyria. They farmed west of Elyria in Valley county until they sold the farm and moved into Ord in the late 1970's. Raymond was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church at Ord. Survivors include his wife Irene of Ord; two sons, Myron and Dean, both of Ord; a daughter, Sharon Manchester of Ord; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A sister, Irene Papiernik of Ord; two brothers Anton of Genoa and Tom of Ord. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers. Funeral services were held Friday, June 9, 1989 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Stanley Gorak officiating. Burial was in the Ord City Cemetery.
