According to the 1900 census she was born September 1830 in Bohemia, emigrated to the United States in 1874, had been married for forty-eight years, and was the mother of nine children, eight living. At that time she and her husband lived in Skull Creek Township, Butler County, Nebr. with their daughter and son-in-law Maggie and Joseph Hlavac. Birth date calculated from age at death.
