Death was due to rupture. He was in his 89th year. Born in Bohemia October 28, 1827, he lived there until 1873, when he came to the United States with his family. He was married in Bohemia in 1851 to Miss Mary Kastl. Nine children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Proskovec, eight of whom are living. After all their children were married Mr. and Mrs. Proskovec sold their home twenty-nine years ago and came to live with their daughter, Mrs. Hlavac.
