The Wellington Leader March 6, 2003 Cleo Juanita Messer of Wellington died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003 in Wellington. She was 89 years of age. Born August 4, 1913 in Quail to Lawrence and Vester Rankin Brisbin, she attended school at Quail. She married Myron Messer August 4, 1941 in Yuma, AZ. He preceded her in death in 1970. Mrs. Messer returned to Wellington in 1972. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Gary Messer of Dalhart, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
