The Wellington Leader February 25, 1943 Mrs. Jess Forrester, a Quail resident for most of her life, died at her home there Friday evening, February 19, at 5:30 o'clock. Her death followed an illness of two years. Mrs. Forrester was before her marriage Miss Hazel Dale Brisbin, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Brisbin of Quail. She was born at Lubbock October 11, 1909, and at the time of her death she was 33 years, 1 month and 5 days of age. She came with her parents to this county when she was only 3 years of age. She grew up here and received her education in the county schools. She was married to Mr. Forrester on March 7, 1925. Mrs. Forrester had been a member of the Baptist Church since she was 16 years of age. Widely known through the western part of the county, she had many friends who loved and respected her. Mrs. Forrester is survived by her husband and two children, Bennie Eugene and Jimmie Lynn of Quail; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Brisbin of Quail, and these brothers and sisters: Ira Brisbin and Mrs. Myron Messer of Quail, Mrs. Travis McGuire of Wellington, and Jack Brisbin of the U.S. Army Air Corps. Other survivors here include two aunts, Mrs. Frank Null of Wellington and Mrs. Lela Maxwell of Quail. ******************************************************
