'''''''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), July 12, 1934, p. 3, col. 4 Abie (2) Mrs. Frank Mazanec, former resident on a farm near Abie, died at her home in Dwight on July 1 after a long illness. She was 79 years of age. Funeral services were held at the Dwight Catholic church, Rev. Nouza officiating. Burial was in the Abie Catholic cemetery. Those from Abie attending the funeral on July 4 were Frank Walla, Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Semrad and Mrs. Otto E. Pavel.
