She had been in failing health for about six months. Funeral services were held Monday at the Catholic church at Overton, Rev. Father Kavanaugh conducting the services. The body was brought to Abie for burial beside the grave of her husband, who passed away about 22 years ago. The services were in charge of Rev. Father Kasny. The pallbearers were Mrs. Venhauer's three brothers, Leo, Lewis and Fred Mazanec, and her three sons-in-law, Joseph Ourada, Louis Straka and Frank Moritz. Marie Mazanec was Mrs. Venhauer's maiden name and she was born near Bruno January 12, 1875, a daughter of Frank and Frances Mazanec. She was married to James Venhauer in November 1896, at Sts.
