Edwin Aaron Prather, 83, of Lake Charles passed away in his residence, Wednesday, August 22, 2012 surrounded by his family. Edwin was born on November 6, 1928 in Oakdale, LA to Bertha Holden Prather and Aaron Prather. He was a long time resident of Lake Charles and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from Lake Charles Diesel. Mr. Prather was a member of VFW Post #2130. He is survived by his wife two daughters, one son, one brother, five sisters, fourteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
