Imogene Benoit Imogene Prather Benoit, 72, born August 14, 1930, died at 6:24 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2003, in Christus-St. Patrick Hospital. She was a native of Oakdale, and she lived in Lake Charles for 50 years. Survivors include her mother, Bertha Prather; two sons, Michael James Benoit and Roger Dale Benoit; one daughter, Charlene Benoit Quibodeaux; three brothers, Edwin Prather, James Lee Prather and Donald Prather; six sisters, Betty Ann Fuselier, Lennie May Daley, Wanda Lee Cinquemano, Loretta Leger, Marlene Richard and Kay Lynn Jarjamillo; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 15, in First Church of the Nazarene of Lake Charles. The Rev. Richard Beckham will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Lake Charles under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Visitation is 5-10 p.m. Saturday and 9-11 a.m. Sunday in the funeral home, and from 1 p.m. in the church. Lake Charles American Press 13 Mar 2004
