Bio
Betty Ann Fuselier was born to Aaron and Bertha (Holden) Prather on July 13, 1934 in Washington, LA. She was one of ten children. Betty was a Catholic and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Belinda Fontenot of Lake Charles; sons, Kenneth Fuselier of Lake Charles and Randy and wife Juliet (Williams) Fuselier of Knoxville, TN.; six grandchildren, Jarret LeBlanc of Lake Charles, Tera Fuselier of Atlanta, GA., Seth Fuselier and partner Sarah of Atlanta, GA., Caitlin Fuselier and husband Elliott Schwahn of Knoxville, TN., Gabriel and Anna Fuselier of Knoxville, TN.; a great grandchild, Eva Mae Fulmer of Atlanta, GA., sisters, Loretta and husband Murphy Leger of Hayes, LA., Marlene Richard of Lake Charles, and Kay Jarimillo of Lake Charles; three sister in laws, Mickey, Sharon, Genora Prather all of Lake Charles; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Joseph Fuselier of 65 years; parents, Aaron and Bertha Holden Prather; son Mark Fuselier; brothers, Edwin Prather, Donald Prather, and James Lee Prather; sisters, Imogene Benoit, Wanda Cinquemano and Lennie Dailey. Visitation services will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Saturday, March 6, 2021 beginning at 9:00 am until funeral services with a rosary to be prayed at 10:00 am. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at 12:00pm. Interment will be immediately following at Highland Memorial Gardens. The Very Rev. Rogo A. Palatty will officiate at the services.
