The Banner-Press (David City, Nebraska) 23 Sep 1971, Thu Page 3 Raymond A. Hottovy, 43, Dies Sunday; Services Conducted Wednesday A 43-year-old Brainard area farmer, Raymond A. Hottovy, died Sunday, Sept. 19, at Bryan Memorial Hospital, Lincoln, where he had been taken after being fatally stricken at his home. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning, Sept. 22, from Dwight Assumption Catholic Church. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Raymond A., the son of Anton and Ella (Codr) Hottovy was born April 3, 1928 near Brainard. On June 14, 1949. he was married to Frances Benes at St. Marys Cathedral in Lincoln. To this union seven children were born. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict, and a member of Dwight Post No. 110 of the American Legion. He leaves his wife, Frances; four sons, Tom, Gary, Steve, and Jim; three daughters, Beverly, Cathy, and Donna; three brothers, Alois, Anthony, and Ivan; and two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Marie) Snyder and Mrs. Albert (Georgia) Hain. He was preceded in death by his parents.
