The Banner-Press (David City, Nebraska) 10 Jan 1974, Thu Page 7 Services Tuesday For Cyril Hotovy Funeral services for Cyril C. Hotovy, 85, were conducted Tuesday morning, Jan. 8, from the Dwight Assumption Catholic Church with Father Harold Birkel officiating. Mr. Hotovy died Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Butler County Hospital. Burial was in the Dwight Assumption Cemetery. Mr. Hotovy, the son of John and Mary Makulas Hotovy, was born July 1, 1888, at Dwight. He was married to Julia Makes on Oct. 14, 1913. at Dwight. He leaves to mourn his wife, Julia; two sons, George S. and John B. of Dwight; one daughter, Blanche Hotovy of California; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His parents and one daughter, Mary, preceded him in death.
