Voyles Dies At Home; Services To Be Held Today William Creed Voyles, 75, well known Greenville man, and former city employee died Saturday at 12:45 o'clock at his home 3210 Templeton Street after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon at Park Street Baptist Church. Rev. C.H. Jones, pastor will officiate and interment will be in East Mount. Pallbearers will be J.W. McCormack, Jr., Lester Cox, B.S. Lamb, R.E. Irons, Allie Morgan, O.T. Dooley, Ed Williams, Sr., and M.L. Combs. The arrangements are being made by Gray-Ballard-Sorrells Funeral Home. The body will rest at the family residence until shortly before the hour for the service. Born August 25, 1874 in the Shady Grove Community, Mr. Voyles was the son of Billie Voyles and Crelia Hamrick Voyles. He was a member of the Park Street Baptist Church and W.O.W. For many years he was a trusted employe of the City of Greenville and held positions with the Street department and City Park. He was married in early life to Miss Dora Camp of the Shady Grove community and to this union was born one son who preceded him in death January 13, 1919. His wife preceded him in death June 2, 1933, and on March 18, 1944 he was married to Mrs. Annie, Renfro. Surviving are his wife, two sisters, Mrs. Frank Pugh of Ft. Worth, Mrs. H.D. Phillips, Commerce, two step children, Durward Renfro and Mrs. Griggs Butler both of Dallas and several nieces and nephews in the Shady Grove Community. ∼ He married Dora Crump on 16 Dec 1900 in Hunt County, Texas. He re-married to Mrs. Annie Renfro on 13 Mar 1944 in Hunt County, Texas. Occupation: Retired City Employee in Greenville, Hunt, Texas. He was married in early life to Dora Crump in the Shady Grove community. To this union was born one son, who died on January 13, 1919. His wife also preceded him in death on June 2, 1933. On March 13, 1944, he was married to the former Mrs. Annie Renfro in this city. Mr. Voyles was a member of the Park Street Baptist Church, and the W. O. W.
