Obituary Gonzales Inquirer Mar. 11, 1971 Kocurek Rites Here Wednesday Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. from the Seydler-Hill Hazel and at 10 a.m. from the St. James Catholic Church for Mrs. Henry J. Kocurek, who died at 3:35 p.m. Monday in the Holmes Community Hospital. The Rev. Wendel Lieb, pastor, will officiate at the services and also at the rosary service to be held at the chapel at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Tuesday. Mrs. Kocurek was born on September 12, 1892, in Shiner, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hrncirik, her mother being the former Antonio Gallia. She was married to Henry J. Kocurek on November 11, 1912, and the family residence was on Route 2. She was a member of the St. James Catholic Church. Her husband died on May 14, 1970. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elsie A, Schautteet of Gonzales; Mrs. Mary Collins of Victoria; two sons, Emil J. Kocurek of Huntsville and Joe H. Kocurek of Austin; eight grandchildren; one brother, Rudolph Hrncirik of Gonzales; and three half brothers, Joe Tichavsky of Shiner, Emil Tichavsky of California.
