Obit-Gonzales Inquirer Feb. 22, 1982 Kocurek Services Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. from Seydler-Hill Funeral Chapel fot Joe Kocurek, who died at 10:42 p.m. Saturday in the Colonial Nursing Home in Nixon. The Rev. Edward Bily and the Rev. Jim Schellenberg will conduct the rites with burial Gonzales Memorial Park. Mr. Kocurek was born April 1, 1894, in Shiner, the son of Joe and Veronica Dobes Kocurek, natives of Czechoslovakia. He was a farmer on Route 2 and a member of the Catholic church. Survivors include three nephews, Joe Kocurek, Gonzales, Raymond Sefcik of Austin, and Alson Sefcik of LaMarque; three nieces, Mary Collins of Victoria, Judy Edwards and Lillian Martin, both of Houston.
