Obituary Gonzales Inquirer Dec. 30, 1976 Miss Christine Kocurek Rites Said Sunday Funeral services for Miss Christine Kocurek, who died Thursday in a nursing home in Nixon, were at 2 p.m. Sunday. Elder E.F. Griffin officiated at the services which were at the Seydler-Hill chapel. Burial was in Gonzales Memorial Park.Miss Kocurek was born Feb. 9, 1906 in Gonzales. Her parents were Joe Kocurek and Vera Dobez, both from Czechoslovak. She was a member of Primitive Baptist Church. She resided at 3300 Montopolis Dr. in Austin. She was formerly of zookeeper Forest. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Jimmie Hlnak of Houston; one brother, a Joe Kocurek of Nixon and nieces and nephews.
