Facts Born: May 26, 1912 Death: June 21, 2012 Biography Nellie Madina Morris age 100 of Huntsville, formerly of Franklin County, passed away June 21, 2012 at her residence in Huntsville. Ms. Morris enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, quilting and crochet. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Claudia Stephens; husband, James Alex Morris; sons, A.J. Morris and Whitt "Bill" Morris. Ms Morris is survived by her sons, Kenneth (JoAnn) Morris of Scottsboro, AL, James Morris of Decherd, TN, Norman (Marie) Morris of Winchester, Charles "Buck" (Tammy) Morris of Winchester, TN, Truman (Nell) Morris of Palm Springs, CA; daughters, Leona Boanna of New Port, WA, Barbara (Marvin) Stubblefield of Elkmont, AL, Fannie (Charles) Bolden of Estill Springs, TN, Glinda Taylor of Huntsville, AL, Linda (Mickey) Little of Madison, AL, Geneva (Johnny) Robinson of Dutton, AL and Amy Cox of Spring Hill, TN; sisters, Mae Miller of Keith Springs and Faye Judge of Winchester, TN 47 grandchildren, 69 great – grandchildren, a host of great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted Monday, June 25, 2012 at 1pm from the chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home with Bro. Rudy Wilkerson and Bro. Wayne Steele officiating. Interment will follow in Keith Springs Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband James Alex Morris.
