Bio

Martha Mae Miller, age 91 of Belvidere, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. A native of Franklin County, she was born on June 19, 1927 in Belvidere to the late Jerry and Ova (Steele) Stephens. Mrs. Miller was a member of Keith Springs Church of Jesus and enjoyed spending time with her church family. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking, and loved being with her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by her husband, B.D. Miller; son, Thomas Nathan Miller; and siblings, Ben Stephens, Walt Stephens, Robert Stephens, Elgin Stephens, Edward Stephens, Owt Stephens, Charles Stephens, A.G. Stephens, Faye Judge, and Nell Morris. She is survived by her loving children, Austin (Wanda)Miller, Arlin Ray (Bobbie) Miller, Sandra Gail (Sherrill) Sanders, and Brenda Miller Brock; grandchildren, Amy Burton, Shannon Bates, Ritchie Miller, Vincent Sanders, Rocky Sanders, Thomas Miller, Brent Brock, Nicole Barbeau, Derrick Brock, Wendy Elliott, and Brittney Miller; sixteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-9 pm Monday, September 17, 2018 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Harold Steele and Bro. Chuck Wilkerson officiating. Interment will follow at Keith Springs Cemetery.
