LAKE WORTH - Maudie L. Ethridge, 96, a homemaker, died Tuesday at a Lake Worth nursing home. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home. Burial: Azleland Memorial Park. Mrs. Ethridge was born in Whitewright and had been a Fort Worth area resident since 1972. She was a Baptist. Her husband, Melvin A. Ethridge, died in 1963. Survivors: Son, Melvin L. Ethridge of Batesville, Ark.; daughter, Tola Fay Evans of Fort Worth; sister, Audrey L. King of Lubbock; five grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 40 great-great-grandchildren.
