The Gadsden Times, Wednesday, 06 April 1977 "Mrs. Farrington Mrs. Nora Wallace Farrington, 69, 520 Doyle St., E. Gadsden, died Tuesday at a local hospital. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Collier-Butler Chapel with the Revs. Bill Harbison and Jim Bland officiating. Burial Crestwood Cemetery. Survivors: sons, William P. and Billy James Raley, both of Gadsden; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Tommy Raley, Gadsden; step-daughter, Mrs. Amelia Miles, Atlanta, Ga.; stepsons, James and Bill Farrington, both of Websters Chapel; grandchildren, William P. Raley III, Newport, Ore., Layne H. Raley and Mrs. Carol Glassco, both of Gadsden; great-grandchildren, Jason Layne Raley, Kelly Carol and Kirby Craig Glassco, all of Gadsden; sisters, Mrs. Margaret Stephens and Mrs. Mavis Hoskins, both of Gadsden; brothers, Thomas Wallace, Gadsden, Dewitt Wallace, Anniston, William Wallace, Birmingham. Active pallbearers: W. R. Copeland, Crazven O'Bryant, Lane Raley, Kirby Glassco, Joe Clifton, Milton Wallace, Don Hoskins, J. T. Miles and Carl Fletcher. Honorary pallbearers: Dr. Adrian Chandler, staff and nurses of the Holy Name of Jesus Hospital and McGuffey's Nursing Home. Mrs. Farrington was a resident of Gadsden most of her life. She was a member of the East Gadsden Baptist Church and the Adult VI of the Effie Fidilis Sunday School Class. Mrs. Farrington was a graduate of the Baptist Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1948 and was a member of the Licensed Practical Nurses Association. The body will remain at Collier-Butler Chapel through the hour of service. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Research finds that Nora Wallace was married four times. First to William Price Raley (about 1923); died 1934 Second to (__?__) Womack; died Third to John Sanford Pruitt (1945); died 1962 Fourth to Joseph Ellis Farrington (1951); died 1973
