Bio

Herald Coaster, January 13, 1975: Funeral services for Roy Maden, 56, of Rt. 1, Sweeny, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Triska Funeral Home Chapel in Rosenberg, with the Rev. Milton Maly, pastor of the Rosenberg Brethren Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Methodist Cemetery in East Bernard. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today. Mr. Maden died Saturday at the home of a sister in Sweeny. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Effie Maden of Sweeny; sisters, Mrs. Irene Mansel of Sweeny, and Mrs. Emma Evans, Mrs. Willie Louise Warncke, Mrs. Helen Guyet, Mrs. Ruth Litvik, all of Rosenberg, Mrs. Dorothy Lyrock of Houston, and Mrs. Bee Niswonger of Ohio; three brothers, Homer Maden of Houston, William Maden of Bay City, and R.L. Maden of Sweeny.
