Bio

Herald Coaster, May 23, 1977: Funeral services for Effie E. Maden, 85, were held at 10 a.m. today at the Triska-Davis-Dawson Funeral Home Chapel in Rosenberg with Dr. Edwin Jenkins of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Maden died Saturday night at Leisure Lodge Nursing Home. Survivors include three sons, Homer Maden of Pasadena, William Maden of Bay City, and Reginald Maden of Sweeny; seven daughters, Mrs. Irene Mansel of Old Ocean, Mrs. Beatrice Niswonger of Trottwood, Ohio, Mrs. Emma Evans, Mrs. Ruth Litvik, Mrs. Helen Guyet, Mrs. Dorothy Lyrok, and Mrs. Louise Warnke, all of Rosenberg; and one sister, Mrs. Virginia Beene of Houston; 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
