Daughter of Matthew & Agnieska (Job) Zelazny. Immigrated to the US in 1879 with her parents. ----------------------- Thanks to contributor #48796369 MRS. JOHN CUBA DEAD---FUNERAL FRIDAY Mrs. John Cuba, Sr., 76, died at 2:30 Wednesday morning at her home twelve miles northwest of Silver Creek. She had been ill for some time. She was born July 16, 1868, in Poland and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Zelazny. She came to the United States when quite young and on Feb. 11, 1884, married John Cuba, sr., at Duncan. They made their home in the Genoa community the past 60 years farming, and celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last February. Mrs. Cuba was a member of the St. Peter and Paul Catholic church at Krakow. Immediate survivors include her husband, six sons, Ben of Silver Creek, Isadore and Steve at home, John, jr., of Genoa, Felix of Clarks and Joe of Genoa; and five daughters, Stella at home, Mrs. John Tarnick of Grand Island, Mrs. John T. Paprocki of Humphrey, Mrs. Charles Krzycki of Monroe and Mrs. Edward Stopak of Fullerton. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Krakow. Silver Creek Sand, December 18, 1944
