Bio

Josie Barnett, 85, Russell Springs, KY, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2003 at the Russell County Hospital. She was the widow of Ben Barnett. Survivors include four sons, James Barnett, Franklin, IN, Gene Barnett, Leon Barnett, and Arlo Barnett, all of Russell Springs, KY; five daughters, Shirley Gillian, Whiteland, IN, Rose Wariner, Jamestown, KY, Susie York, Earlene Richardson and Justine (Odel) Johnson, all of Russell Springs, KY; one brother, Loren Simpson, Newcastle,IN; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Tuesday, August 5, 2003 in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Richie Curtis officiating. Interment was in the Rexroat Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
