Susie Gleen York, 77, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. She was born on January 15, 1945 in Russell Springs, KY, a daughter of the late Ben Barnett and Josie Simpson Barnett. Susie was a former employee of Sutton's Shirt Factory and a member of Greater Hope Christian Fellowship Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her special friend, Edward Powell; a grandson, Logan York; 2 brothers: Leon Barnett and James Barnett; and 2 sisters: Shirley Gillen and Earlene Richardson. SURVIVORS: 1 daughter: Freda Tiller (Eugene) of Russell Springs, KY 2 sons: Roger York (Kelly) and Jodie York (Marsha), both of Russell Springs, KY 2 sisters: Justine Johnson (Odell) and Rose Warriner, both of Jamestown, KY 2 brothers: Gene Barnett and Arlo Barnett (Ellen), both of Jamestown, KY 6 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren A host of nieces & nephews Funeral Service: Tuesday, November 29 2022 at 2:00pmCT at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY with Bro.
