Herald Coaster, November 1, 1995: Funeral services for Emma M. Schultz, age 88, of Needville, are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 1995, at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 9018 Church Street in Needville. Officiating at the service will be the Reverend George Kuebler. Burial will be in the Needville Public Cemetery. Mrs. Schultz died on Monday, October 30, 1995, at her residence. She was born on December 26, 1906 in Burleson County, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ. She is survived by one daughter, Ruth E. Peters and her husband, Arnold, of Needville; two grandchildren, Laverne and Kathy Ann Peters, both of Needville; two sisters, Alvina Schultz of Somerville and Annie Poehl of Caldwell; three brothers, Willie Poehls of Caldwell, Herman Poehls of Arlington, and Ernest Poehls of Jones Creek; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Church of Christ.
