Bio
Conley Johnson Funeral services for Conley Johnson, 90, of Pitkin will be held at 10 a m Thursday, May 3 m the Glade Branch Church in Cravens with the Rev Bill Boatnght. Burial will follow in the Drakes Fork Cemetery in Cravens under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home m DeRidder. Mr. Johnson died May 1 in the Beauregard Nursing Home in DeRidder.Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby Lee Johnson, of Pitkin; one daughter, Mrs. Marie Pelt, of Pitkin; three sons, Lloyd Johnson, Ottis Ray Johnson and Sammy Joe Johnson, all of Pitkin; one brother, Mr. Wilmer Johnson, of Rosepine; eight grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 2 in the church.
