The Town Talk, 07 Dec 1955, Wed, Page 33 Fletcher Johnson (Special to The Town Talk) LEESVLLLE, La. Funeral services for Fletcher Johnson, 71, who who was found dead in his yard east of Fort Polk, at 6 a. m., Monday, were held at the Johnsonville church at 2 p. m., Tuesday. Burial in the Drakes Fork cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Leesville. Johnson, a retired farmer and native of Vernon Parish has been ill for a number of years and died of natural causes. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lola Johnson of Leesville: two sons, Murray L. and Hershell Pete of Leesville; three daughters, Mrs. Jewel Johnson, Pitkin, and Mrs. Lila Evans, and Mrs. Vessie deason of Pickering; four brothers, Alice, DeRidder, Pred and Conly of Pitkin and Will of Leesville: six sisters, Mrs. Pearly James, Mrs. Katherine James, Mrs. Beulah Johnson, and Mrs. Eula Johnson of Leesville; Mrs. Paraiie White, Crpssett. Ark. and Mrs. Pernie Bailey, Roscpine and 23 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
