MRS KATHERINE JAMES LEESVILLE - Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Johnson James, 76, of Sandy Hill community, were to be held at 2 pm today at Drakes's Fork church with Rev. Kirby Ellis officiating. Burial was to be in Drake's Fork cemetery under the direction of the Hixson funeral home of Leesville. Mrs. James died Thursday night at her home. Survivors include her husband, Charlie D. James of Leesville; three sons, Taft James of Leesville, Millard James of Pitkin and Howell James of Morgan City; three brothers, Pred and Conly Johnson, both of Pitkin and Wilmer Johnson of Morgan City; five sisters, Mrs. Buelah Ashworth, Mrs. Pearlie James and Mrs. Eula Johnson, all of Leesville, Mrs. Pernie Bailey of Rosepine and Mrs. Parlee White of Pine Bluff, Ark.; nine grand children and three great grandchildren.
