WISCONSIN STATE JOURNAL, Madison, Wisconsin, Friday, March 14, 1952, Section 1, Page 12: Mrs. Glenn Rites LA FARGE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Cora L. Glenn, 84, who died Tuesday in the home of her son on Lower Weister Creek, will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Evangelical United Brethren church at Dell. The Rev. John Larsen will officiate, and burial will be in the Dell cemetery. Mrs. Glenn was born in Ohio, and married in 1884 to Eno Daines. After the death of her first husband she was married in 1933 to Simon Glenn, who died last year. Surviving are a son, Verne, four sisters, one brother, two stepdaughters, three stepsons, 13 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren. Note: Cora is not the daughter of George Hughes like her marriage record states. She is a daughter of Harriet, his 2nd wife. She is listed with George & her mother Harriet as a stepdaughter with George's surname in the 1880 census. She is not listed with George & his 1st wife Mary Ellen in the 1870 census. George & Harriet were not married til 1873.
