Bio

Arrangements for the funeral of Fredrick Grant Saddoris, who died here Wednesday, are being delayed pending the receipt of word from a son, Arthur, who lives in West virginia. Mr. Saddors was born in Clarke County, Iowa to Henry and Margaret Kirby Saddoris on May 11, 1863. He married Emma Stone there in 1889. Mr. Saddoris was 77 years old and had lived in Montesano for 49 years, coming to this county in 1891. Besides his wife, Emma, and his son, Arthur, he is also survived by two other sons, Harry of Summer Lake, Ore., and Earl of Montesano, and six grandchildren. The Whiteside company is in charge of the funeral. May 31, 1940 The Daily World Aberdeen, Washington
