Obiturary PETER VANDER KOOI Peter J. Vander Kooi, 68, 200 Sixth Street was found dead Friday in his apartment police said. Dr. Thomas L. Coriden, Woodbury County Medical Examiner, said death was due to natural causes. The medical examiner set the time of death at sometime Thursday. Mr. Vander Kkooi was born at Hull Iowa on April 6, 1906. He had resided in Sioux City since 1950. He was a construction worker for the Clark Construction Co. of Hinton, Iowa, and also an independent trucker. He was a member of the Christian Reformed Church of Orange City, Iowa. Survivors include four sons, Fred of Hinton, Dale of Merrill, Iowa, Duane of Watkenville, Ga., and Peter of Carson, Calif; a daughter Mrs. Harold (Judy) Lenig of Redonda Beach, Calif; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Grifhorst of Orange City. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Heaton-Wescott Funeral Home. The Rev. Harold Norheim, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church at Merrill, will officiate. Burial will be at Middleburg Cemetery in Middleburg, Iowa. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Monday
