Another Routt County pioneer was laid to rest last Saturday afternoon. The pioneer was Ned Dunckley, a member of the well-known Dunckley family of Williams Park. Ned, like several of his brothers, as George, John and Bob, came to Colorado from Kansas over 40 years ago. He was well-known in Routt County some 30 years ago and was a genial, likable man. Ned had been in Pueblo for several years and passed away there Wednesday of last week at the age of 71. The funeral services were held at the Congregational Church Saturday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. W.S. Stevenson. Burial was made in the Hayden Cemetery.--Steamboat Pilot, Thursday, May 22, 1941, Pg. 5
