Obituary Gonzales Inquirer July 7, 1966 Funeral Services Held For Vackar This Morning Funeral services were held today at 10 a.m. from the Seydler Funeral Chapel for Charles H. Vackar, who died in a local hospital at 9:45 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Floyd Whatley, pastor of the First Presbyterian churvh, conduthe services with burial following in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Mr. Vackar was born on April 1, 1881, in Lavaca county, the son of Jacob and Mary Kaspara Vackar. He was a member of the First Presbyterian church. Survivors include two sons, Robert J. Vackar of Gonzales; M. C. Vackar of Edinburg; two daughters, Mrs. E. E. (Virginia) Griffinof Houston; Mrs. Kenneth (Peggy) Mang of Gonzales; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one brother, Laddie Vackar of Gonzales, and one sister, Miss Katherine Vackar of Los Angeles, Calif.
