Obituary Gonzales Inquirer Sept. 2, 1994 Virginia V. Griffin, 86, of Houston passed away Tuesday August 30. She was born and raised in Gonzales and had lived in Houston for over 50 years. She was a member of West University Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Graveside services care being held at 11:39 a.m. Friday Sept. 2 at the Masonic cemetery in Gonzales with the Rev. Kevin Boyd officiating. Visition was held Thursday evening in the Windsor Room of the Settegast Knopf Company at Sugar Creek.
