Bio

Archie Linial Phillips was born 25 Nov 1913 in Boonville, Arkansas. He was the youngest of the 8 children born to George W. Phillips and Laura Matilda LeFevre Phillips. Siblings: Mary Eva Phillips [Boydston] (1889-1970), Lessie C. Phillips [Canada] (1890-1909), Rhona A. Phillips [Yarbrough] (1900-____), Dixie E. Phillips [Wade] (1902-____), Ina Unishie Phillips [Golden] (1905-1995), Henry M. Phillips (1906-1994) and Louie Roudolph Phillips (1910-1952). At the age of 18, he married Inez A. Richardson on 19 November 1932 in Childress, Texas. He worked for Ready Mix Concrete Company. He was 63 years of age when he suffered a heart attack and passed away on 31 December 1976 in Lockney, Floyd, Texas. He was buried 2 January 1977 in the Lockney Cemetery in Lockney, Floyd, Texas.
