From "The Republican-Register", Aurora, Nebraska dated Friday, March 5, 1909, Page 5: John A. White died at his home eight miles south of Aurora last Sunday. The funeral was held from the Seatonville church on Tuesday, conducted by Rev. Harper of Aurora, and the remains were laid to rest in the church cemetery. Deceased was forty years old and leaves a wife and two children. Stomach disease was Mr. White's affiction. ----------- From "The Hamilton County Register", Aurora, Nebraska dated Friday, March 5, 1909, Page 8: Obituary -- White. John Addison White was born in Dane county, Wisconsin, January 2, 1869 and passed to his reward February 28, 1909, at his home 8 miles southeast of Giltner, being 40 yrs. 1 mo. and 26 days of age. He came with his parents to Hamilton county, in 1871, where he resided until the time of his death. On March the 6, 1894 he was united in marriage to Miss Frances Glass, also of this county. Four children were born to this union. Two of whom, an infant son, and a little daughter, Ruth, have preceeded their father in death. The two remaining children, Hannah and Warren, with their mother are left to mourn the loss of a loving father and husband. He also leaves behind an aged father and three brothers, all of whom were present at the funeral. The subject of this sketch was kind to his family and generous-hearted to all mankind. He leaves a memory of these good qualities which ever be a great satisfaction to the dear ones left behind. The funeral was held from the Seatonville church, Tuesday afternoon, March 2nd, at 2 o'clock and was conducted by Rev. Harper of the Presbyterian church of Aurora. The remains were then borne to the nearby cemetery and laid in their last earthly resting place. The sincere sympathy of the entire community is extended to the heartbroken wife, the fatherless children, and sorrowing relatives, in this sad hour of affliction.
