Grand Island (Nebrasaka) Daily Independent Monday, 25 October 1920 "Briefs Around the County - Giltner" Owen White passed away at his home in Anaheim, Cal., on Sept. 30, conflicting reports had been circulated in regard to his death, hence the delay in getting the facts. Until March 1919 Mr. White had always made his home at the White homestead seven miles southeast of Giltner, having a general sale at that time and a few months later started for California where the family has since resided. A few weeks ago he sold his farm to C. P. Campbell thus disposing of the balance of of his Hamilton county property. For several months Mr. White had been ailing and the last few weeks his condition became serious, death claiming one of the county's best at the age of 44 years and 10 days. He leaves a wife, four daughters, two sons, and other relatives and countless friends to mourn his loss. Provided by contributor diaNEB
