May 11,1978 Atkinson Graphic SERVICES HELD FOR BARBARA DVORAK, 90 Funeral services were held Friday at St Joseph's Catholic Church for Mrs. Barbara Dvorak, 90, who died May 3, at the home of her daughter, Mrs Robert Clifford. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Altar boys were her grandsons, Rock and Scott Fehringer of Bloomfield, Ricky Pospichal of Dighton, Kan. Pallbearers were grandsons Rudy D Dvorak of Chadron; Robert O Clifford of San Diego, Cal; Joe Dvorak of Sioux City; Richard Dvorak of Denver; Mark E Fehringer of Bloomfield; Matt Kauth of Verdigre. Barbara Dvorak was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, June 18,1887 to Frank and Mary Koudela. She came to the USA in 1903. married John Dvorak, May 2,1906. lived in Madison, Nebraska. for five years before moving to Atkinson on the farm where her son, John J Dvorak and family reside. For the last year and a half she lived with her daughters Helen Clifford and Mary Havranek. Barbara enjoyed outdoor life and was a nature lover. Her hobbies were flowers, crocheting and knitting. She enjoyed and loved people, always welcomed them with a smile, had a heart of gold and she lived for her family. She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Al (Mary ) Havranek of Bloomfield; MrsRobert (Helen) Clifford of Atkinson; sons Frank and John J of Atkinson; 20 grandchildren; Mrs Matt (JoAnn) Kauth; Mrs Moeley (Shirley Ann) Meredith; Rudy D Dvorak; Mrs. Larry (Joy) Schrunk; MrsMark (Ellen) Fehringer; Mrs Rolland (Kay) Karr;p MrsDuane (Gayle) Taylor; Richard Dvorak; Robert O Clifford; MrsMichael (Bonnie) Chekrown; MrsRichard (Patty) Pospichal; Mrs Steve (Kathy) Smolik; Mike, JT; Jerry; Joe; Mary; Barbie; Lori Dvorak; Mrs Lyle (Gina) Davis; 42 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John D,; sons Bill and Rudy; daughter Anna; great grandchildren Christina Fehringer and Mark Schrunk.
