Oct 31,1969 Atkinson Graphic RITES HELD FOR RUDY DVORAK, 59 Rudy A Dvorak, 59, prominent Atkinson rancher, died Friday,Oct 24,1969, in Omaha after a short illness. Funeral services in United Methodist Church, Monday. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. The Atkinson rancher was an avid sportsman and loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of the Atkinson United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, Nebraska's Stockgrowers Ass, Sandhills Cattlemen Ass. His parents were John and Barbara Kohdela Dvorak. He was born April 8,1910 in Madison. Mr. and Mrs. Dvorak, the former Melba Clifford, were married at the Clifford Ranch, south of Atkinson on Sept 19,1931. Two children were born to the couple, a son, Rudy D (Butch) who lives with his wife and children, Rodney and Rocky in Chadron; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (J) who lives on the Dvorak ranch miles southwest of Atkinson. Mr. and Mrs. Schrunk having children, Ryan and Tonya. Besides his wife and children he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Barbara Dvorak of Atkinson, two sisters, Mrs. Al (Mary) Havranek and Mrs. Robert H ( Helen ) Clifford; two brothers, Frank and J, all of Atkinson. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mrs. Joe of Verdigre, a son,William of Sun Valley and a grandson, Mark of Atkinson.
