Herald Coaster, January 1, 1978: Funeral services for Mrs. Ralph C. Boehnemann, Sr. (Elda Louise), 56, of Beasley, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, at Hope Lutheran Church in Beasley. Rev. Joe Kraatz and Rev. Henry W. Engeling will officiate and burial will be in E and R Cemetery. Mrs. Boehnemann died Friday at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Wharton. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Beasley and taught Sunday School for 40 years. She was also a member of Rural Letter Carriers Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Ralph C. Boehnemann, Sr., of Beasley; one son, Ralph C. Boehnemann, Jr., of East Bernard; one daughter, Mrs. R.J. Pfannstiel, of Altus Air Force Base, Okla.; five grandchildren; five brothers, Delmus Ognoskie of Houston, Albert Lee Ognoskie of Grange, Lester Ognoskie of Rosenberg, and Larry Ognoskie of Needville; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Voigt of Addicks and Mrs. Joe Cacciotti of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
