Sarah Ellen Robb was born Dec 15, 1869. Her parents were James H Sumpter and Chinesa Meridith. She married William Jasper Robb in 1887 and had 6 children. Her husband William Japer Robb died Aug 1, 1930 (His parents were William Robb & Mary Ketchum). He was a miner, born in Howard County, MO and died in Higbee, MO. She was a resident and died in Higbee, MO of gangrene of the right foot. Thrombosis of peri malleolar (3 days). ROBB DIES AT DAUGHTERS HOME, FUNERAL FRIDAY Higbee, Sept. 15--Mrs. Sarah Ellen Robb, 79, died about 6:30 o'clock last night at the home of her daughter Mrs. Justus Dearing in Higbee. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dearing and Mrs. Arthur Arney, Moberly; several grandchildren, and a brother, Jim Sumpter of Higbee. Mrs. Robb was born Dec. 15, 1869. She had been bedfast several years. Her husband and four children, Mrs. George Orton, Mrs. Carl Harlow, Ell Robb, and Thomas Robb preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted at the home of Mrs. Dearing at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in Higbee Cemetery. -from contributor Tom Waters
