Bio
Alma Frances Robb was born on April 20, 1900, in Howard Cty Missouri. Her father William was 37, and her mother, Sarah "Ellen", was 30. She married George Nichols Orton on March 4, 1916. They lived in Higbee, Randolph Cty, MO & Howard Cty, MO. They had 13 children in 24 years' time. Two of her sons died in 1927 of Broncho Pneumonia and Laryngeal Diphtheria. Her father died in 1930 from Gallstones causing Cholangitis. She also had a brother precede her in death. She died of a brain hemorrhage after a week stay in McCormick Hospital in Moberly, Missouri, on July 20, 1946 (at the age of 46) and was buried in the Higbee City Cemetery.
