Geraldine (Rejcek) Neslony, 64, of Edmond, Okla., passed away Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. A rosary will be recited 6 p.m. Thursday, at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with visitation to follow until 8 p.m. Geraldine was born in Penelope, Texas, to the late Valentine and Christine (Makovy) Rejcek, the youngest of nine children. She attended schools in Penelope. On June 29, 1968 she was united in marriage to James J. Neslony in Penelope. She worked in the mortgage and insurance industry until the births of her two sons, when she became a full-time, stay at home mother. Since 2002, Geraldine was the co-owner of HVAC Plus in Oklahoma City. She enjoyed photography and volunteered taking school pictures where her sons attended, for student year books. She also enjoyed baking and was an experienced home canner. She shared her delicious pies and canned preserves with many of her relatives and friends. Geraldine was active and President of the Wood County Aggie Mom's Club and participated in many of her sons Texas A&M University functions. She has a zest for life and loved being near her family and friends. She was a dedicated and faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond. She will be remembered by many people for her gracious attitude, jovial laugh, sparkling eyes and her beautiful smile. Geraldine is preceded in death by three brothers, George Rejcek, Albert Rejcek, and Edmund Rejcek. Survivors include her loving husband of 43 years, James J. Neslony; sons, Jason P. Neslony and wife, Jennifer, and Jonathan E. Neslony; grandson, Jordan M. Neslony; brother, Lawrence Rejcek; sisters, Lucille Kubala, Wilma Kallus, Josephine Cervenka, and Bernice Gerik; her parents-in-law, Joe and Dorothy Neslony; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
